This course was built on rolling terrain so there will be a few uneven lies. The fairways are narrow and tree lined. There are sand bunkers that come into play throughout the course, and water hazards come into play on seven different holes. The greens on this design have been described as very small, very sloped and very fast. The signature hole is #5, a 304-yard, par 4, which calls for a 190-yard carry tee over water, or the player can go to the left into a canyon. The green is very well protected by two huge sand bunkers on the right and left sides.
