This facility used to be a private club but is now open to the public. Many situations arise where golfers are forced to make a choice as to how conservatively to select their shots. Risky decisions can be rewarding or lead players into a lot of trouble. Each hole is very unique in design and the terrain includes hills, lakes and beautiful trees. There are many memorable holes on this course. One interesting hole is #9, a 485-yard, par 5, which requires an elevated tee shot to an open landing area that has bunkers on the right. The second shot is uphill and over a tunneled fairway that is directly above the entrance road to the club, and then back downhill to an undulating area that incorporates a stream in front and a pond to the right as well as many trees. These obstacles are hidden from view on the second shot, providing a great example of the risk/reward mentality that this course demands.
