This outstanding public course offers three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations, and a nine hole youth links course. All courses are very scenic and unique. Water hazards come into play on many holes, and more than 100,000 flowers adorn the courses with a variety of color.

The premier course is the Woodside/Lakeside. "GOLF Magazine" selected it 66th in the 1998 category of the "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S." The Lakeside Course has open fairways and several strategically-placed water hazards. The Woodside Course is heavily wooded and possesses many lakes that come into play. The Hillside Course is more forgiving than the others, and "GOLF Magazine" rated this course as the 39th best under the 1996 category of "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S."

The pro shop was voted among the "Top 100 Golf Shops In America" in 1995 by Golf Shop Operations. Fairways Restaurant overlooks the golf courses and serves breakfast and lunch during the golf season. On Sundays they serve a Sunday Brunch from 10 AM to 2 PM. During the summer they offer outdoor concerts at Cantigny at 3 PM on Sundays. In addition, tours of the Robert R. McCormick Country Home are available. The men's tees have an additional course rating and slope for ladies. Senior and junior discounts are available for nine hole rounds only.
