The legendary Donald Ross designed the golf course in 1922. The original two-story clubhouse building was also constructed in 1922. A major $5.0 million renovation and expansion of the clubhouse and patio was completed in May of 2002. Benvenue Country Club is proud to have the finest country club facilities East of Raleigh. Also included on site are a tennis center, swimming pool, and cabana. Benvenue is a full service country club that has members of all ages.

This is an old, typical Donald Ross traditional-style course with tree-lined fairways and well-manicured greens. There are tall pine trees and creeks that come into play throughout the course. This course has postage stamp-sized greens.
