Marion Center Road Charlevoix, MI 49720 p: 231.547.2611 This classic old-style course's greens are very small and fast, demanding an artful short game. Since the fairways afford generous landing areas there is plenty of room to hit the ball. However, the fairways are home to a number of bunkers, such as on hole #15, a 459-yard, par 5, which has a large sand bunker sitting on the right edge of a severe dogleg right fairway. Ray Didier was the first to redesign this course in 1961, followed by William Newcomb in 1968. The Michigan Amateur has been held here nearly forty times over the years.
