This course was designed with all skill levels in mind. The fairways are fairly generous, and the greens are well-manicured. The rolling terrain of the fairways provides for some uneven lies. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on many holes. The golf shop was honored as one of "America's 100 Best Golf Shops" in 1996. Their new practice facility and learning center is considered by its personnel as the premier facility in central Texas.
