The par 72 layout has a length of 7,237 yards from the championship tees and 5,561 yards from the ladies tees. Battle Creek is a links-style course with 100 bunkers and 8 ponds strategically placed to capture errant tee shots.

Large bentgrass greens and oversize tee boxes remain in excellent condition through the approximately 36,000 annual rounds. The golf course is surrounded by the Battle Creek community with over 500 homesites as well as commercial property.
