This is a fairly wide open course, but it does have water coming into play on two holes and undulating greens. The course is routed through a pine and hardwood forest. It was also selected 5th among the "Top 10 Best New Upscale Courses" for 1996, and rated as the 9th "Best in State" course for 1997-98. "GOLF Magazine" selected it 94th in the 1998 category of the "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S."
