The legacy created in the course's first century of play has been enhanced by the challenge of the new Dennis Griffith-design creation. The layout includes 12 pars 3s, four par 4s, and two par 5s, all meandering through a maze of centuries-old Oak trees. Strategically placed lagoons add difficulty to a course that received a 4 star rating from Golf Digest. The magazine also voted Audubon one of the top public courses in Louisiana and was No. 1 in the category of "Courses Over 100 Years Old."
