Midway between Charleston, WV and Pittsburgh, PA, sits Stonewall Resort, home to an eighteen hole championship Arnold Palmer Signature course. This course, designed by “The King” himself, opened for play June 2002, and plays around Stonewall Jackson Lake. The front nine plays along the shore, and several holes require forced carries across portions of the lake. The fairways are tree lined, and follow the contours of the sloping hills green valleys. The large greens putt fast and true. This course plays to 7,149-yards at the tips, but there are six sets of tees allowing golfers to custom tailor the course to suit their skill level.
